Cristal D'Arques Longchamp 11-3/4-Ounce Crystal Iced-Tea Glass, Set of 4 I never received my purchase. I did recrive ONE glass sent after christmas, but we did not ever get the order I place which was for two sets of four glasses. I suggest you drop this company. I give them NO STARS.

Be careful of what you purchase in the Cristal D'Arques line. The brandy snifters are poor quality. I suspect that the remainder of the D'Arques line is on a par with the brandy snifters.
I purchased two of the brandy snifters to supplement my Cristal D'Arques collection. We have almost 100 pieces of the various glasses, etc. made by D'Arques and purchased over the years. The manufacturer/supplier is foisting off on the consumer a glass that is 1 1/4 oz. lighter than the original. The original glass weighed 8.50 ounces. The present glass weighs 7.25 ounces. To further insult the customer, the glass appears to be completely molded. The base of the old glass was truly diamond faceted; the new glass has a simply rounded base with fake "facets" that have no edges. However, if a purchaser is not accustomed to quality, this would be a CHEAP glass in which to consume CHEAP cognac.

Too bad there is not a "Zero Stars" option, as that is what the supplier/manufacturer deserves.

We have gophers and moles. That's just the nature of the land in this area. We were using another type of gopher tool for the first few years and it started jamming. I found this tool on Amazon and bought two of them. The Yard Butler is much better quality than our other ones. The cylinder to distribute the poison is bigger and stronger. The whole unit is built well.

We use the Yard Butlers daily and have not had any problems with jamming. The mole tunnels are easy to find and poison. The gophers are a different matter. These tools are so sturdy it's easy to go through hard dirt and clay to find to their tunnels.

UPDATE 11/2010 There is one small caveat with this machine. Do not use it as a walking stick! The dispenser tube is made from two pieces: the long tube and then a second piece that forms the point. My husband used it was a walking stick on concrete (before he got to the hay field) for several months until the point caved in from all that punishment - he pretty much slammed it on the concrete with each step. I'm amazed the point lasted as long as it did.

Since the first order, I've purchased four more. These purchases were made after the first unit was damaged because we did not see the point/cement situation being a deterrent. We strategically place the units around the hay meadow so about the time we run out of poison in the one we're using, we're near a full one. These units hold quite a bit of poison and we have quite a large area to cover.

I should explain the reason reason we use the handheld units instead of a big tractor pulled poisoner. The first reason is we control the amount and location of the poison we put in the earth. The second reason is we've discovered the tractor pulled units simply create an expressway for the little critters to use at their leisure.

Oh, yes, my husband no longer uses the units as a walking stick on concrete.

I've had one of these bait applicators for several years and have used it with a lot of success. Previous to this I tried hand applied baits, traps and the non-effective water hose. Out of those choices, the traps worked the best except you had to actually face your gopher victim which is not particularly pleasant if your gopher is still alive because they're nasty, aggressive little critters . The bait applicator works better than all of them.

With the bait applicator, as soon as you find some fresh diggings, you start probing for the tunnels around the new site with the long probe of the device, drop some pellets in the tunnel via the crank & pellet holder and the gopher digging just stops. It's almost anti-climatic. YOU don't have to dig for their tunnels and THEY just disappear. If you fancy yourself as a "Gopher Killer" as did Bill Murray in the movie "Caddyshack" this device just takes all the drama out of gopher control.

It does require a little artsy-crafty skill because you have to "feel" for the "drop" of the probe into the tunnel which can be a little tricky in loose sand but one develops a skill and becomes quite accurate.

If you want to have a PCIe x1 card to use with WHS 2011 and a GIGABYTE MB, pick this one and not the NVIDEA. This one WORKS. I purchased both, and after much turmoil, I put down the bones and bought this card.

I have to SAS cards on my PCIe16 slots, so all I had left was 3 PCIe x1 slots.

1. I had to install the card while I had a PCIe Video card installed
2. Downloaded the driver.
3. Had my BIOS (GIGABYTE MB) video card setting to PCI and not PCIe16
4. Made sure install worked correctly and then was able to take out the PCIe Video Card and replace it with the SAS card.

I have a modest computer w/ only a couple available PCIex1 slots (not PCIe x16) and wanted to run 4 monitors w/ out breaking the bank. Bought 2 and it worked out great on my win7 box b/c they were (a) PCIe x1, (b) didn't need an external power source (c) slim and didn't take up 2 slots like other cards (d) came w/ the 2 connector adapter and (e) new enough that AMD/ATI still offers good driver support. I'm not a gamer so didn't consider any performance aspects of the card. I cared about getting the screen realestate.

Bottom-Line: In the VisionTek Radeon HD 4350 we have picked a sure winner. Not only is the adapter affordable, but it delivers outstanding performance with plenty of room to grow.

Over the years I have found that one is much more productive with a lot of screen real estate. The wider the display of course, the more information one can squeeze between the corners. But, not everyone, including me, can afford a wide screen display, so we fall back on the next best thing, the dual monitor set-up.

Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 made attaching multiple monitors to one computer infinitely easier, and Microsoft Windows 7 only takes this functionality to the next level by automatically detecting each new display, numbering it, and making it read for use. Of course all of this nifty functionality is depended on the video card/adapter; it has to be able to support two or more monitors. At work the move is on the place two monitors on everyone desk. Our display adapter of choice: the PCI-E based VisionTek RADEON HD 4350 DMS59 Video Card with 512MB of DDR2 VRAM onboard.

The Adapter

The short form factor, low profile VisionTek Radeon HD 4350 graphics adapter card uses the ATI Radeon GPU to provide multi-monitor support (up to 2 displays). Although the card is advertised as a low profile unit, the card is convertible to standard ATX design with (included) tall bracket for standard chassis.

Combining completely new and efficient ultra-threaded core architecture with ATI's revolutionary Avivo video and display technology, the VisionTek Radeon HD 4350 DMS59 offers full support for Microsoft DX10.1 and DX9. The VisionTek Radeon HD4350 DMS59 is ideal for office productivity, modest gaming, multimedia, and other workstation applications.

Installation (Hardware/Software):

Installation of the VisionTek Radeon HD 4350 DMS59 is a pretty straight forward affair; the card sits comfortably in any available PCI-e slot. Most of our installations are in Dell GX 500 series desktop computers wherein there is little room to spare, so the small form factor design of the card is most welcome. Once locked into place the VisionTek Radeon HD 4350 DMS59 was ready to use with Windows XP SP2/3, or in a small number of cases, Windows 7 Enterprise.

The box includes cables to connect dual monitors via DVI or VGA; I chose DVI hooking the cables to Dell 190P series displays. It's worth noting that even though the card is installed and providing output for dual monitors, the integrated display adapter will still work (depending on BIOS settings). On my computer, a Dell 9000 series workstation I utilize both the VisionTek Radeon HD 4350 adapter and the integrated video adapter with Windows 7 Enterprise installed.

Once in place I powered on the PC. I skipped the software installation, but installed the driver stack for a 64-bit OS. Once that chore was complete I used Windows 7 display properties to configure the various cards and assign the appropriate numbers to my (3) monitors. That's it, the whole install process took less than 10 minutes to accomplish including the BIOS configuration.

First Impressions:

I like this card, a lot! Even without the installation of the VisionTek (ATI) specific software, the adapter's performance is exceptional, however the included software does deliver an imposing set of tools that give one unmatched control over the graphics environment, but what I use my business computer for the overhead would not be worth the effort.

The VisionTek Radeon HD 4350 is a decent dual-port video graphics card. The picture is clear, crisp, bright, and well defined; the colors are vibrant and true to life; the text is sharp and remarkably in-focus and crisp; and the monitor flickers not a bit even at refresh rate of 60Hz. I am seeing images in a whole new light with the VisionTek Radeon HD 4350; the colors no longer blend together in a confusing mix of off-hued pixels; indeed colors are realistic down to the minutest of details.

I am not a gamer, nor a graphics designer, so I will come nowhere close to putting this card through its true paces, or realizing the full potential of the PCI-e, on-board processor, SDRAM technology. Nonetheless I like the feeling of knowing that I have barley touched the potential of the card, that as I place new demands on it, it will deliver without hesitation.

Video, VCD and DVD playback are the most impressive improvement over the VisionTek Radeon HD 4350. Video playback through the VisionTek Radeon HD 4350 is outstanding at the standard size, and I am happy to report that image quality suffers only minutely at full screen with DVD, VCD, .ASF, .MOV, or Mpeg formats. And of course GoTo Meeting, WebEx, and other video conferencing/ sharing technologies present no issue for the adapter.

Conclusions:

In the VisionTek Radeon HD 4350 we have picked a sure winner. Not only is the adapter affordable, but it delivers outstanding performance with plenty of room to grow. ATI is one of the oldest and most trusted names in computer graphics, and the VisionTek Radeon HD 4350 continues their tradition of offering superior products at a reasonable price. If you are looking for the perfect mate for Windows 9.xx / 2000 /XP, or Windows 7 at or slightly above the $100.00 price-point, look no further than the VisionTek Radeon HD 4350.

I have bought this product on September 2007. Which is about less then 2 years ago. about 6 months ago, I got one serious pixel issue. Since it was over 1 year which is warranty period, I thought it's not worth a fixing it with paying so much money.
And 2 days ago... It died. Less then 2 years of using... And trust me, I don't watch TV that much at all. Probably 6 hours on weekends and 2 hours on weekdays. Do not buy this POS.

First: this is a great TV at an amazingly low price. If you are on a budget and are looking for a great deal this is it.

The downsides for this TV are well known: only one set of inputs for Component and HDMI; the remote is clumsy; no picture in picture; sound quality from stock speakers is "meh". Build quality not as high (cheap plastic look to it) as Sony or Samsung.

However: those are minor quibbles.

I have this monitor hooked up via the following: IO HDTV via HDMI, progressive scan DVD player via component, XBOX (original) via S-Video, and finally to my laptop via VGA.

I can tell you that the clarity of the picture when watching both motion and still images (Yankees games vs. nature shows) is amazing when hooked up via the HDMI cable to my Cablevision box.

DVD wise, I watched "Children of Men" last night and was also impressed: even at only 480p it looked great.

XBOX games look OK via the S-Video and slightly better via component. I'm sure if I had a next-gen console with the higher end outputs it would look much better. Halo 2 still turns heads at 480p.

Don't sleep on the VGA input as well. I have a nothing special laptop that I hook up and use with a wireless keyboard and mouse. Screen looks crisp and readable from a little under 10 feet away. It's great to be able to surf the internet from my couch and not strain my eyes.

CONCLUSION:

Bottom line is that you can spend $400 (shop around on the Internet) for this TV and get essentially the same picture quality as a $700-$900 TV from Sony or Samsung. Even with its well documented limitations this is still a must buy. It might be a little small for a large living room, but in my cramped NYC apt it works excellent as our main entertainment center TV. Most people will probably find this TV works best in a den or bedroom.

I have a large area between my dining room and living room that needed to be gated while my husband and I were at work to keep the Doberman Kids out of the rest of the house. I have been looking for a solution to this area that was stylish and had a pass through gate, but could also be completely removed if needed. My dobermans are 90 and 102 lbs. Dane, the male, is tall and this meets him at eye level. We previously had a wide wooden gate that Gemma, our girl, could jump over easily. This stops the jumping and looks good at the same time!

Gates just for dogs are expensive and unattractive. This was a good price, good quality, good looks and was easy to install. I only gave it four stars as it does not fit our baseboard so we had to install it higher on the wall. This causes the bar that goes across the bottom to be higher; about 4" from the floor. You then have to step over it going through the pass through gate.

I have had great comments from family and neighbors as to how it looks! Thanks Amazon. You make shopping easy!

Bought this gate to keep 2 english/american bulldogs in the living room. The gate itself is georgeous by baby gate standards, and is fairly easy to assemble. (make sure you have a drill & read instructions) The gate is a little shaky after 3 months, but i think that is more from my dog going bonkers and trying to eat her way thru it during a particularly frightening rain storm. On the plus side- no teeth marks, or show of wear & tear.

We finally hung these curtains last night after waiting forever for the room to get painted. I couldn't believe how gorgeous they were. We have been remodeling a play room and though it's mostly for the kids, it still needs to be pretty! After putting the curtains up, my daughter begged me to buy some for her bedroom. I am just in love with them! They are so light and airy, but still block the sun. I am now going to order some for her room.

I had stalked these curtains for a month... creeping from site to site like a lion biding my time drooling after prey. Okay, maybe not that seriously but I was honestly checking like 18+ plus sites on a consistent basis just WAITING for these curtains to come back in. They were out of stock everywhere! Looking at the picture these were to be the final piece to my daughter's nursery. Finally I got an email saying they were back in stock, success! I ordered them so fast my keyboard was smoking. Counting the days until they arrived (that's how bad I want her nursery to be finished) I practically assaulted the delivery guy for them when they arrived. I ripped open the package and unfurled what was to be the biggest disappointment... they were so thin! With cheap backing. Upon inspection I realized that it would be really easy to make these myself, they kinda look homemade. The tiers are super-long and I think would be much more attractive if they were a little shorter and maybe add another layer, something to give it a little more volume, like the picture looks. That being said, back they are going and unfortunately I'm back on hunt.

This co-sleeper is a great size and very well built. The craftsmanship is hands down, the best I've found. It is sturdy and moves easily. I only have two complaints, 1. The mattress (if you can call it that) is to thin and flimsy. In my opinion, it's flimsy enough to be a hazard. I actually paid the money and ordered another mattress thinking that would help, to no avail. 2. It is top heavy and therefore, will tip over when you are trying to move it.

This co-sleeper is really very lovely, and practical. It attaches firmly to the bed, is sturdy, and the mesh sides allow baby to see out. I take away one star because the mattress is very hard. In fact, we have a folded towel, topped by a thin felt/waterproof pad, with a folded muslin blanket on top of that. This makes it just about right, still quite firm and safe. At any rate, this aids nighttime nursing and lets baby be close.

Arm's Reach 7000-ANG Review by Sarah Eaves "Sarah" (Houston, TX)

We bought this from another site and assembled it today (the Santa Barbara/ Toffee colored version). We are expecting our 2nd baby in a couple months and I had some fairly strict criteria (solid support for higher weight limit, portability around the house, able to incline, acts as co sleeper and stand alone bassinet). This really fits the bill for our family (with a few minor drawbacks).
PROS:
- adjustable height (can raise one side to incline for baby w/ reflux, we have a *high* mattress and this is much higher than a Pack N Play (PNP) and actually works with our mattress).
- solid mattress support. The support underneath the mattress is one hard, solid surface. PNP's tend to have a fabric support that sags in the middle and maxes out (noticeable sag) at 10lbs, Co-sleepers have the same fabric support design though I don't know what the realistic weight limit is. This should be supportive to at least double that. As a person who has "big" babies this is a HUGE bonus
- padded head/foot board. My son would always scoot up until his head was pressed up against something, at least this is soft
- nice design, It's neutral and blends into the room
-Portability, I like to have the baby sleep in different rooms depending on where I am and this allows me to "bring the baby with me"
-Co-sleeping option. This was a big criteria for me.

CONS:
- access to the basket underneath is a bit restricted. It'd be nice if there was a split in the skirt that allowed easier access. Can't imagine being able to find a particular blanket, etc in the middle of the night.
- sheet size. I can already tell it's going to be a bit tricky to find extra sheets to fit this size. Seems that the CRADLE sheets stand a better chance of fitting than bassinet sheets.
- LOTS of velcro. Every hard surface is wrapped in padded fabric (which I love) but when switching from the regular to co-sleeping set up you may have to separate velcro (and risk waking baby). We've already noticed this and have an alternative set up for the velcro placement
- mattress. It is just like any other bassinet mattress you'll find, I wish it'd come with a better one considering the cost. (I don't know how it compares to other Arm's Reach co-sleeper mattresses). This doesn't really bother me much but is worth noting
-not travel-friendly. It does NOT disassemble/travel easily like a PNP or traditional co sleeper (notice it doesn't come with a carry bag). Not an issue for us as we rarely travel but something buyer should be aware of prior to purchase.

IN RESPONSE TO OTHER REVIEWS
- as mentioned earlier the mattress leaves something to be desired
- top heavy, anything that you raise the height for is going to become increasingly unstable as the height increases. Just use common sense. We raised it to it's max height and shook it fairly hard, it did NOT seem at risk of falling over. Also considering that once baby becomes mobile they have outgrown the Little Palace I am not concerned.
- warning label placement. There is ONE warning label on ours. It is a large white tag (about 5inx7in) on one corner of the skirt (The back side). It's not exactly hidden or pretty but it's not glaringly obvious from EVERY side/angle, and can be tucked away with a safety pin.

All in all we find this to be a GREAT compromise between a basinet, co-sleeper, and pack n play and are looking forward to putting it to good use!

Although the wood parts to this table are high quality and arrived unscratched, there was no hardware included in the box. I called the company (Bassett) and it took several days for the hardware to arrive.

The table itself is nice, it's sturdy and attractive. It's a lot more substantial than it looks in the picture. The assembly was straightforward, took me about 10 mins on my own (once I got all the pieces).

The problem is, like other reviewers have mentioned, there was no hardware in the package....Granted, basset was responsive and shipped the necessary parts within a few days, no complaints about the customer service. But a table like this, from a company like Basset, you expect there to be hardware....and unpacking it and strewing the parts all over the room, only to have to wait 4 days before you have everything necessary to assemble, is unacceptable...

Only get this table if you don't mind waiting a few days after you unpack it to actually put it together.

The box arrived first thing in the morning and I was very excited to put it together. I took off the lid of the box and was instantly regretting my decision. The Styrofoam was crumbled making a huge mess. I found a couple screws just laying on top. The first wood piece I saw had scratches. When I found the hardware box (thankful I had hardware since others reported not having it), the screws were all loose in the larger box and the smaller box that was to contain the screws was open and empty. The instruction pages were all over the package bunched up, wrinkled. I'm thinking that this box was previously opened and returned. I was very tempted to stop and send it back to Amazon. However, I really didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning it. I continued to remove piece after piece, covered with pieces of broken up Styrofoam. 30 minutes later, I found 19 out of the 20 screws. I and my entire living room floor were covered in tiny pieces of Styrofoam. Several of the pieces had scratches. Thankfully, the pieces could be switch around to hide most of the flaws. Putting the changer together really was a breeze. It was less than 30 minutes (less time than unpacking) to put it together. A couple minor flaws still show but overall I'm very happy with the changer. It's sturdy, nice wood, and simple. I will have to call Bassetbaby for them to send me the one missing screw. Packaging I give a 1, product I give a 4. If there weren't flaws throughout the wood I would give product a 5. The product sticker that others complained is an important product announcement so I think the intention is to not have you remove it. When you put the changing pad on, it will cover it anyway. I did try the dryer trick and it didn't work for me.

After reading numerous reviews, ordered this expandable booster seat for it's longevity of use and because of the steel frame and the way it's built. It fits nicely in the car and is not as bulky as the convertible car seat that was in the car before. The cup holders are a nice touch too! The booster works great with Latch and the shoulder seat belt. Our other car is older and does not have latch so when trying it in that car it was very loose and not stable. For the older car we ordered another Sunshine Kids convertible car seat which costs more than 2x as much as this booster but doesn't need latch to go in the car. So, this is a great booster if you have a newer car that has latch -- having latch gives the seat an extra amount of security and keeps it more stable than just by using a shoulder seat belt alone. Highly recommend it for newer cars with latch.

My 4 yr old had a Britax and he passed it on to his baby brother. He loves his new seat! 2 cup holders, a big boy seat belt and he says it's comfy. Seat looks big so it should last him a while. I have not tried the travel bag but it is nice that it came with it. Very easy to install. The latch system is great because it keeps the seat nice and tight! It also has a great red color! Very happy with it!! :o)

The upgrade from car seat to booster seat couldn't have gone better without this booster seat. My son loves that he's in a booster (big boy) seat using the grownup seatbelt, and I love that it's sturdy, and will help to protect him in case of a car accident. It also has the latch system to keep the booster in place, so it doesn't become a harmful object if involved in an accident without your child in the seat. The colors looks great, we got the red and black one. The bag is a convince if your ever traveling. The back of the booster comes off too, in case you wanted/needed only the seat. The 2 cup holders are a convince for the child, for drinks or snacks. Just be careful what they try to hide in them, since they fold into the booster seat. The only improvements could be the arm rest, they are kinda short, and won't adjust, as your child gets older. Also the weight is about the same as a car seat, so it's not light like most booster seats. Overall a great booster seat, that will last a lot longer than most boosters, since it can accommodate up to 6' 3".

One warning for parents is to just go over the basic rules when transitioning to any booster seat. Such as NEVER unbuckle the car seat until being told to, or when the car is parked and turned off. Also not to lean all the way forward, pull the seat belt all the way out (otherwise the seatbelt won't be able to do its job to protect the child if involved in an accident). Make sure to check that the seatbelt is actually buckled in after the child buckles themselves, sometimes they think they are buckled when they really aren't, which is something you cannot fix of course after an accident occurs. Of course just remind them that the booster and seatbelt is there to protect them, kids usually don't realize this is about safety, and not about the cool colors or the 2 cup holders they can use. I also had to remind my son a few times that the seatbelt goes over your shoulder, crosses his body to the other side where the seatbelt buckles, and that the lap part of the seatbelt should be on his lap, nowhere else, especially shouldn't be pulled on. Kids just need that reminder so they don't play with the seatbelt. In the booklet it does state if you have a car that has the automatic seatbelt (such as the ones that are located above the window, and move so you can get out when the door is open), that this car seat should not be used with those seatbelts(just a little FYI before you spend money on this). One other thing I must add is that while this is more pricey than most booster seats, it is well worth the money for your child's safety.

I would give it 5 stars, but the original packaging was missing one of the nuts. Contacted manufacturer and a replacement was shipped. Installation was simple and have been able to put 4 bikes on so far.

For the family that occasionally needs this, it works great. We use it once or twice per month.

I purchased the rack because it could carry all 5 of my families bikes. The rack held the bikes great, however, it could not hold my youngest childs bike which is a small 12". I'm not certain that 5 bikes would fit very compforable on this rack, but then again getting 5 bikes of a rack is a lot. Very good craftsmanship and seems to be good quality.

Seems to be sturdy. Wobble- free bolt locking it in the hitch is good idea.
Though misses the additional bar on the bottom (see Thule devices) that would allow better bikes stability and possibility to be used for transporting skis without modifications and buying additional adapters.
Price- wise it is very good.

This is the best formula ever. be careful using it in infants under year. they can react to the brown rice syrup. My daughter had a mild reaction so I kept using the Carnation Good Start Purple can without the harmful DHA additive and then at 11 months switched her to this organic formula and it was a total success. We have chosen to keep her on it until 2 since she is soooo healthy and is never sick. I buy it direct from the vendor but saw the review here and had to share! You will be so happy with this baby milk. So easy to use and if you call the vendor directly they will mail you scoopers! Sooo convenient.

Just to clear up some confusion here is the quote from the manufacture's website:

"Baby's Only Organic� Dairy-based Toddler Formula contains alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and linoleic acid (LA), the fatty acid precursors for Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and Arachidonic acid (ARA)."

Conversion of ALA and LA by the body to the more active longer-chain metabolites is inefficient: 2-5% for DHA. So while adding ALA to your child's diet is helpful it is not a complete substitute for the ARA and DHA found in breast milk (of course no formula can match breast milk).

If you want to use this brand of formula you should consider adding DHA and ARA some other way. This same company makes a supplement called "Baby's Only Essentials� DHA & ARA" and there are others on the market.

It's so nice that it's not filled with things that should just NOT be in formula.
No ingredients are purchased from China.
Contains no palm oil.

I also am impressed that they don't use corn syrup to sweeten their formulas. It's brown rice syrup which is a better carbohydrate than most use.

In response to no added DHA/ARA this is found on their website so it is not lacking.. and who wants DHA/ARA made by martex which is derived from laboratory-grown fermented algae and fungus and processed utilizing a toxic chemical, hexane anyway?

Baby's Only Organic� pediatric formulas contain two essential (precursor) fats: Alpha-Linolenic Acid (ALA) and Linoleic Acid (LA). Alpha-Linolenic and Linoleic fatty acids are called "essential" because the human body cannot make these fats and therefore it is essential to derive them from food sources. Alpha-Linolenic Acid is an omega-3 used by the body to make Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA). Linoleic Acid is an omega-6 used by the body to make Arachidonic Acid (ARA). DHA and ARA are called "non-essential" fatty acids because full-term, healthy infants, children, and adults can manufacture these from Alpha-Linolenic and Linoleic fatty acids.
